I'd love to say hi to all of you so if you're at the event please stop by and say hi!

I've been keeping Marketa and Andrews wedding to myself until they were published on Brooklyn Bride.... Boy was it a happy surprise when i saw the tweet that they were on live on the site today! I'll post the full wedding tomorrow but for now to go check out Brooklyn Bride.... Happy rainy Monday!

Hey there all you guys in blogland... You know when you're having one of those days? Well I was having one of those days where nothing could go right and I was just in a funk! And then I got this little gem in my inbox.... "Congratulations, our team of writers and brides-to-be have moved your company to the second and final round of the best wedding vendor in New York contest. You can see the post with your name, here: http://bridepop.com/contest/wedding-vendors-in-new-york/ Remember, the only way to win for your category is to get the most votes. Voting is limited to one vote every 12 hours per person. That means you can ask your friends, family, and clients to vote for you up to twice per day." That's right, I've been nominated as one of the best photographers in New York! and of course as everyone always says, it's just so nice to be nominated!

my life

July 9, 2010

my life is not just being a photographer.... I've been rambling a lot on facebook (come be my friend) about how much i love my job, and i do love my job, i feel privileged to be able to capture moments in your lives. I love that people love the pictures that I take, they mean something to someone. I feel lucky to be able to find what I love to do and am making it happen..... but there are a lot of other things i love too that i don't always get to talk about as much.. first, i love chris.. he's my rock, he reminds me that i can do anything and keeps me grounded when i'm off being the dreamer that I am, and accepts that and goes with it and tries to pull me back in when I've gone to far, i know that without him i wouldn't

The past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind of new things..... I received a phone call about shooting a concert up in Boston to promote the new Amex Zync card. I was skeptical at first but this year I've tried so many new things, like shooting the premier of babies for the bump, so I decided to go for it. So Friday afternoon I headed to Central Park to shoot the S family (who's images you can see below) and Saturday morning I was off to Boston! I took the acela up (free wifi :-) ) and checked into the W which I highly recommend (could have been the best night of sleep I've ever had) then I was off to the show. I had no idea what I was in for, shooting a concert is really similar to shooting a wedding, you have no idea what's going to happen next,

This is my mom's tree and it hasn't been up in a while since we typical go skiing right after Christmas, but my step-dad surprised my mom with a tree this year....... So here's the tree in all it's glory Most of the ornaments have been on the tree since I was a baby and things that my mom and I have collected over the years, like most families we try to add ornaments each year and from all the places we've been. So Here are a few of my favorites....These my mom got for my first Christmas and were made by a woman who worked with my mom and they are my favorite..course... Baby's 1st Christmas.... it's been there a while Santa was very good to me... hope you all enjoy your holidays What are your holiday traditions?
